My Oil Paintings
Russian Horse
The horse, the horse! The symbol of surging potency and power of movement, of action, in man The one thing in great need, and evenmore so, now.
Saint Dnyaneshwar
Highly revered as the boy who at the tender age of 16 was the first to lucidly translate the sacred Geeta from its original sanskrit dialect which only a selected class of people could understand and comprehend, to the more widespread and commonly used marathi dialect, saint Dnyaneshar went on to become the "Rashtrasant" of Maharashtra.
Fragile
We grow with years, more fragile in body, but morally stouter, and can throw off the chill of a bad conscience almost at once. When we speak of the word "life" it is understood that we are not referring to life as we know it from its surface of facts, but to that fragile fluctuating center that forms never reach.
Nature
Nature helps keep your spirit alive. Watch the sun rise and set. Listen to rain. Gaze at stars. Look for rainbows. DON'T FORGET TO SMELL THE FLOWERS.
Rajasthani Beauty
Rajasthani life bursts forth with colors. The land, the music, the people, their language, and even their cloths are all racing with colors. The beauty of Rajastan and its people lies in the very fact that they enjoy life in all its colors and take everything in their stride, living each day as it unfolds in front of them.
Fisherwoman
It is the marketplace that calls most clearly for women to be softer, more narcissistic and receptive, and the resule is the new woman. Even if its only to attract more customers to her wares, then be it.
Journey of Soul
Life, as we know it, is nothing but the journey of a soul through various cycles. The soul is the same, only the bodies change shape and form. This very soul, in its search for salvation travels through the innocence of a new-born, the playfulness of childhood, the insecurity of adolescence, the insanity of youth, the stability of the mature and the fraility of the old, before finally giving up the body and then repeating the same cycles again and again, until its quest of nirvana is achieved.
